Players of all skills levels are welcome to join us for a FUN golf week at Village Green. Players will learn or refresh on basic concepts of putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. Each day will the player learn and review skills reinforced with team competitions, individual skill challenges, and time on the course. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to sharpen your skills, our Junior Golf Camp is the perfect place to improve your swing, make new friends, and have a blast on the course! No equipment is needed to participate.

- Spring Registration opens in February with practices and matches March-May.

Village Green Golf Club team is part of the 1st Tee of Sarasota/ Manasota PGA Jr. League. Coaches, Sean and Erin Martin are PGA Professionals with over 35 years of teaching/coaching experience. Sean and Erin have worked developing several successful junior golf programs at Capital City Club, Atlanta Athletic Club and U.S. Kids Golf prior to taking ownership at Village Green. Sean and Erin understand the importance of making golf an enjoyable experience for juniors while reinforcing technique and lifelong skills in the game of golf.
PGA Jr. League Golf is a fun, social, and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 7 – 13. Players cannot turn 14 before July 31, 2025. Utilizing the popular scramble format PGA Jr. League creates a nurturing environment for learning the game. As with other youth sports, participants wear home and away-numbered jerseys and play on teams with their friends. We are open to juniors of all skill levels.
The VG team practices will be split to help players receive more individual attention with “clinic-style” instruction and play the league format with the team on the course during each session.
Cost – $275 Per Player*
Cost Breakdown:
- $165 (Coach Fee + 1st Tee League Fee) – Paid at Village Green Golf Club
- $110 Annual Membership* – Paid online to PGA America (includes team jerseys, hat or visor and additional team gear)
*Annual Fee covers Spring and Fall seasons and is not included in the cost for the Fall season.
What’s Included
- Weekly practices and Saturday afternoon “Games” in the 1st Tee of Sarasota/ Manasota PGA Jr. League.
- Team jerseys, hat or visor, one practice each week, nine games, league championship, season-end party, league medals for First, Second, and Third places.
- Players will be Village Green “members” for the duration of the season with full access to the course and practice area ($175 value). Parents playing with team members will have discounted golfing fees available.
- Practices will be held on Sunday’s at 1:00 – 2:30 or Wednesday evenings (clinic-style instruction/playing league format).
