Join us at Village Green Golf Club for our 2027 ABCD Ladies Winter League! Whether you’re returning for another season or joining us for the first time, our Winter League is designed to bring ladies together for ten weeks of fun, friendly team competition.
Players are divided into four-player teams made up of A, B, C and D players, helping create balanced teams and competitive matches for golfers of varying abilities.
Registration is limited to the first 40 players.

Optional Play 9:00 a.m. – Captain’s Pick & Draw 12:30 p.m.
Weekly League Play:
Fridays, January 8 – March 12, 2027

League Fee
$40 Cash Season Fee*
The season fee supports league games and prizes throughout the season, including weekly games, birdies, the Hole-in-One pool, team awards, and the season-ending Team Scramble and prizes.
*Members pay their applicable cart or trolley fee each week. Non-members pay the applicable greens fee plus cart or trolley fee.
Special League Pricing for Non-Members
We want the Winter League to be an easy way for non-members to enjoy Village Green throughout the season.
Special 2027 league promotional packages will be announced and available beginning November 1.
Non-members will have access to discounted league greens fees and promotional golf packages during the season.
How ABCD Team Play Works
The league is designed for approximately 32–40 players, divided into four-player teams. Each team consists of an A, B, C and D player, and partners rotate throughout the season so players have the opportunity to pair with different teammates.
Each Friday, two players from one team compete against two players from another team using One Best Ball of Two. Each golfer plays her own ball, and the better score of the two partners is used for the team on each hole.
Match Scoring
There are 36 points available in each match:
- 2 points for winning a hole
- 1 point for tying a hole
- 0 points for losing a hole
Team points accumulate throughout the season, with the teams earning the highest season totals finishing at the top of the league standings.

In addition to team play, we’ll have our traditional weekly games:
Chip-Ins — paid out weekly
Closest to the Pin — paid out weekly
Annual Team Pick & Draw
We kick off each Winter League season with our annual Team Pick & Draw, one of our favorite league traditions!

Ladies who would like to play that morning can join us for an organized 18-hole game, with tee times beginning around 9:00 a.m. It’s a fun opportunity to get back on the course, reconnect with everyone, and enjoy a round before the teams are announced.
Following golf, we’ll gather for our Team Pick & Draw at 12:30 p.m., when captains and teams for the 2027 season will be selected.
Our full 19th Hole luncheon menu will be available, so plan to stay for lunch and enjoy the kickoff festivities with the group.
Morning Golf: Approximately 9:00 a.m.
Team Pick & Draw: 12:30 p.m.
Lunch: Full 19th Hole menu available
Players do not need to participate in the morning golf in order to attend the Team Pick & Draw.
Season Finale: Team Scramble, Banquet & Awards
We finish every Winter League season by bringing all of our teams together for one final day of golf and celebration.

The morning will feature our annual All-Team Scramble, giving everyone a chance to enjoy one last fun round together outside of the regular match-play format.
Following the scramble, we’ll gather for our Awards Banquet, where we’ll celebrate the season, recognize our league winners, and enjoy lunch together.
It’s always a fun way to close out ten weeks of competition, camaraderie, and Friday morning golf at Village Green.

What Happens If We Have an Uneven Number of Teams?
The final league format will depend on registration. If we finish with an odd number of teams, one team may have a bye each week.
In 2026, we turned bye weeks into a separate 2-Best-Ball Net competition: each team recorded its two best net scores on every hole, submitted a team total, and the competition remained separate from regular match-play points. 2026 ABCD Ladies Winter League …
We are not currently planning to include the Best Ball competition for 2027, but a similar format may be added if needed based on the final number of teams. This allows us to keep everyone playing and make the most of each Friday.
